Spring performances

Posted on March 31, 2015May 6, 2015 by admin

We begin our spring season with an evening performance for the gracious audience at Inglewood Care Centre in West Vancouver on Wednesday, April 8.

The following Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m., April 12 is our Spring Concert at Lynn Valley Community Room, in Lynn Valley Village Centre, across from the Library. As part of a long standing tradition, we’ll be bringing a variety of cookies and treats to share with our audience during intermission. The room is always packed – please come early to get a good seat!

In May, we will play a concert on Tuesday evening, May 19, at Central City Lodge in Vancouver. We always enjoy the lively and engaged audience there, as well as the tea, coffee and cookies that hosts Jim and Feria share with us after the performance.
The following week, on Thursday, May 28, we’ll play at West Van. Seniors’ Centre Dining Hall during their popular dinner service.
Last year, our guest soloist, Aydan Con, arrived early and played solo piano for the crowd – by the time the rest of us arrived and set up, he had attracted a large and appreciative audience!
This year, four of our members – Donald, Mike, Deirdre and Laura – have formed a string quartet, and will play a little Mozart for diners while the rest of us arrive and set up.
